黄锐（b.1952） 1979年星星美展的发起者之一。星星美展可以看作是中国当代艺术的发端，是中国当代艺术家独立性的象
HUANG RUI 征。2002年黄锐介绍日本的东京画廊在北京大山子798厂开办北京东京艺术工程，成为大山子艺术区形成的
先声。此后一年多的时间里在艺术区频繁发起、举办当代艺术活动，成为艺术区最重要的构想者和推动者

之一。其艺术作品涉及装置、行为、概念、摄影等艺术形式，为星星画会艺术家中罕有的艺术常青树。

One of the initiators of the Stars Art Exhibition in 1979, which can be seen as the beginning of
contemporary art in China and a symbol of the independence of Chinese contemporary artists.
In 2002, Huang Rui introduced the Japanese Tokyo Gallery to establish the Beijing Tokyo Art
Project in Beijing's Dashanzi 798 Factory, marking the beginning of the Dashanzi Art District.
Over the next year, he frequently initiated and organized contemporary art activities in the art
district, becoming one of its most important conceptualizers and promoters. His artistic works
encompass installation, performance, conceptual, photography, and other forms, making him
one of the rare evergreen artists in the Stars Painting Society.
