nature and warmth. However, behind this warmth and tenderness, there is a hidden sense of
loneliness and exploration of the innermost self, adding to her works a sense of appreciation

崔国泰（b.1964） 1964年出生于辽宁沈阳，1988年毕业于东北师大美术系，1999年毕业于中央美术学院油画系第十届油画
CUI GUOTAI 研究班，2000年考入清华大学美术学院绘画系第四研究室博士课程班。由于个人成长经历，他将工业视为
自己的物质和精神母体。关注底层煤矿工人实际生活状态的作品，以及对中国工业现代化的客观描绘，都

源于个人的生存体验。从2006年开始，崔国泰开始了他的政治风景创作，并一直延续至今，包含了工业风
景、城市风景和文化风景等题材。

Born in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China in 1964, Cui graduated from the Department of
Fine Arts at Northeast Normal University in 1988. He furthered his studies at the Central
Academy of Fine Arts, graduating from the tenth oil painting research class in 1999. In 2000, he
was admitted to the doctoral program at the Department of Painting, Fourth Studio, at Tsinghua
University's Academy of Fine Arts. Due to his personal experiences and upbringing, Cui regards
industry as his material and spiritual foundation. His works, which focus on the actual living
conditions of coal miners and offer an objective depiction of China's industrial modernization,
are rooted in his own survival experiences. Cui began his political landscape works in 2006, a
theme that continues to this day.
