Born in Beijing, and graduated from the Printmaking Department of the Central Academy
of Fine Arts in 1989. Now living in Beijing, he is a professional painter. He has held solo
exhibitions in New York, Philadelphia, France, Paris, Luxembourg and other places. In 2001,
he held a solo exhibition at LOFT Gallery in Paris. Major exhibitions: 2018 Image 180 Liu Wei's

刘晓辉(b.1975) 1975年出生于山东,1991年来到北京,相继在中央美术学院完成附中,大学和研究生的学习。2007年应邀
LIU XIAOHUI 赴英国伦敦进行艺术交流和创作,目前任教于中央美术学院壁画系。刘晓辉作品的结构是紧紧围绕其生活
路径,利用绘画语言的造型塑造和对色彩的反复分析,在对于当下经验的不断肯定与否定中,通过在绘画

过程中反复地推敲与提炼,运用指向性模糊的题材和寻常的场景事物,力图通过质和量的渗透反应,来寻

Born in Shandong in 1975. In 1991, he came to Beijing and subsequently completed his studies
at the affiliated middle school, university, and graduate school of the Central Academy of Fine
Arts (CAFA). In 2007, he was invited to London, UK, for art exchange and creation. He currently
teaches in the Mural Department at CAFA. The structure of Liu Xiaohui's works closely follows
his life path. Through the use of painting language to shape forms and the repeated analysis of
colours, he affirms and negates the current experience. He continuously refines and scrutinizes
his work, using directional vague subjects and ordinary scenes and objects to seek a space for
repeated practice and judgment, aiming to reflect on the penetration of quality and quantity.

米里亚姆·卡恩(b.1949) 1949年出生于瑞士巴塞尔,目前在瑞士斯坦帕生活和工作。1968年至1973年间,她在巴塞尔设计学院接受
MIRIAM CAHN 平面艺术课程的培训。1979年,她因在高速公路桥上放置壁画而闻名,并于1984年代表祖国参加威尼斯双
年展。卡恩的作品受到了20世纪70年代和80年代女权主义运动和思想的影响。在她的艺术生涯之初,她在

Born in Basel, Switzerland in 1949 and currently lives and works in Stampa, Switzerland. She trained at
the Gewerbeschule in Basel, where she took lessons in graphic art from 1968-1973. She gained renown
in 1979 when she placed murals along a motorway bridge and in 1984, she represented her country at
the Venice Biennale. Miriam Cahn's work contains the influence of the feminist movement and thoughts
of the 1970s and 80s. At the beginning of her artistic career, she used her own body in her work by
painting on the ground, on her studio floor, and sometimes naked or with her eyes blindfolded to reduce
