凯瑟琳·伯恩哈特（b.1975） 1975年出生于密苏里州的圣路易斯，她于1998年获得了芝加哥艺术学院的艺术学士学位，并于2000年在

Katherine Bernhardt (b. 1975) was born in St. Louis, Missouri and received a BFA from the
School of the Art Institute of Chicago in1998 and an MFA from the School of Visual Arts, New
York, in 2000.In 2018, the solo exhibition Katherine Bernhardt: Watermelon World was on view
at the Mario Testino Museum (MATE) in Lima, Peru. The previous year, in 2017, the Modern Art
Museum of Fort Worth, Texas presented FOCUS: Katherine Bernhardt. Also in 2017, the artist
painted a 60 foot-long mural entitled XXL Superflat Pancake for the St. Louis Contemporary Art
Museum. Bernhardt has created a permanent installation for Club Caribe, Cidra, Puerto Rico
and a pool painting at the Nautilus South Beach, Miami Beach (both 2015).
The artist's work is included in prestigious public and museum collections, including the Brandt
Foundation Art Research Center, Greenwich, CT; the Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh;
the Sandretto Ray Rebaudengo Foundation, Turin; the High Altitude Museum of Art, Atlanta;
the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington, DC; the Knoxville Museum of Art,
Tennessee; the Portland Art Museum, Maine; Lubell Family Collection Foundation, Miami; and
San Antonio Museum of Art, Texas. Bernhardt currently lives and works in St. Louis.

静、陌生而神秘的画面氛围。在创作“夜景”系列的同时，康海涛也继续着抽象绘画上的探索。他的抽象
作品从一片空白和虚无出发，创作过程近乎冥想，与“夜景”系列的强烈形成对立，他既不面对一个既定
的视觉客体，也不面对任何心理体验（有意识或无意识的），甚至都不面对画面上某个阶段出现的意象。
他的抽象画在不断地肯定与否定中依靠直觉和灵性去完成最终的呈现。在康海涛的日常工作中，“夜景”
与“抽象”系列是同时进行的，两者互为补充，互相契合，达成一种存在的完满。
康海涛的作品曾于中国香港、美国、韩国、捷克、拉脱维亚、意大利、英国等国家和地区展出。他的作品
被中央美术学院美术馆、龙美术馆、上海民生现代美术馆、上海星美术馆、广东美术馆、吉林省博物馆、
武汉美术馆及英国牛津阿什莫林艺术与考古博物馆、拉脱维亚马克·罗斯科艺术中心、意大利国家旅游局

in Chengdu and Mianyang.Kang Haitao is a painter who is fascinated by the ordinaryand
the everyday – a copse of trees, closed doors, a smallhouse – but each of his paintings is
intensified throughclose attention to detail and his desire to paint these scenesby night.
