Lai Jing was born in Chengdu, Sichuan in 1981 and graduated from the Department of Chinese
Painting at the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts in 2011. She is now a member of the “Drifting”
Society (Piao Yi She). For Lai Jing, life is a circle in which everything sprouts, stretches,
evolves, and disappears. This circle starts off as blank, then gradually fills, and everyone fills
this space in their own way. In her works, series such as "In the Fragile Silence", "Wandering
Alone", and "Mirror" can be said to be her condensed dreams and fantasies. Although brief and
uncontrollable, they respond to the past in an instant and anticipate a vague and long future.

Chairman of Hubei Federation of Literature and Art (before 2018), Vice Chairman of Hubei
Artists Association (before 2018), Chairman of Wuhan Artists Association, Member of China Oil
Painting Art Committee, Member of China Artists Association. Solo Exhibition: 2016 "Mirror
