赵无极（1921-2013） 华裔法国画家。1921年生于北平书香世家，童年在江苏南通读书，并学习绘画。1935年入杭州艺术专科学
ZAO WOU-KI 校，师从林风眠。1941年毕业留校任教。1948年赴法国留学，并定居法国。1955年第一部《赵无极版画作
品总目》出版。1957年波歇博物馆出版社出版第一部赵无极生平传记。1975-1977年巴黎国立现代美术馆开

设赵无极专厅。1984年法国政府授予荣誉勋位勋章，2003年被法兰西艺术院接纳为院士。赵无极在绘画创
作上，以西方现代绘画的形式和油画的色彩技巧，参与中国传统文化艺术的意蕴，创造了色彩变幻、笔触
有力、富有韵律感和光感的新的绘画空间，被称为西方现代抒情抽象派的代表，他的作品曾在世界各地举
办160余次个人画展。2013年4月9日，赵无极因病医治无效在瑞士沃州逝世，享年93岁。

Zao Wou-Ki was born in Beijing in 1921. He began his artistic studies under the direction of

Lin Fengmian in 1935 at the Hangzhou National College of Art. After graduating in 1941, he
stayed on as a lecturer before moving to France in 1948. After just seven years abroad, the first
catalogue of his works, titled Zao Wou-Ki: Catalogue Raisonné of Engravings and Lithographs,
1949-1954 was published. Shortly afterwards, Le Musée de Poche released Zao Wou-Ki, an
official biography of the artist. From 1975 to 1977, a dedicated hall showing Zao's work was set
117 up in the Musée National d'Art Moderne in Paris. In the mid-1980s, the French Government
appointed him an Officier de la Légion d'Honneur. Throughout his career, Zao was involved
in over 160 solo exhibitions worldwide. In 2003, as part of the China Year Project in France,
a retrospective was held in the Galerie Nationale du Jeu de Paume in Paris. The same year,
Zao was admitted as a fellow of the Académie des Beaux-Arts. Zao's compelling abstract
paintings have earned him international fame and are much sought after by museums and
private collectors. On April 9th, 2013, at the age of 93 Zao Wou-ki passed away at his home in
Switzerland.

曾宏（b.1974） 1974年生于四川，毕业于四川美术学院，目前居住与工作于北京。曾宏的作品媒介包含绘画、装置和部分
ZENG HONG 影像，从早期对工人宿舍的描绘开始，他使用尺规作图的绘画方式似乎显示着与传统绘画语言的决裂。在
此后的作品中，则在绘画的图像演进和今天的现实状况之间徘徊，因而常常会出现抽象和现实主义之间的

裂痕。曾宏认为裂痕是社会与历史对个人的投射，也因此相信作品是空间和历史的产物，它的意义并非固
定不变，而是被空间与展示之间的关系相互激发而产生的。

Born in Sichuan, Zeng Hong graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2004. He currently
lives and works in Beijing. His works include painting, installation and some videos. Starting
from his early depictions of workers' dormitories, his painting method of using rulers and
compasses seems to show a break with the traditional painting techniques. In subsequent
works, he wandered between the evolution of the image in painting and today's reality, so
there was often a rift between abstraction and realism. Zeng Hong believes that rifts symbolize
the projection of society and history onto individuals, and works, therefore, are the product of
space and history. Its meaning is not fixed but is rather generated by the mutual stimulation
