Born in Shenyang in 1988, he graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy
of Fine Arts in Beijing in 2012 with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from the Painting
Department of the Royal College of Art in 2014. He currently works and lives in London. Lu Chao's
delicate and nuanced narrative creations are deeply influenced by Chinese classical aesthetics
and the influence of Western modern art. Ink monochrome painting is combined with oil painting
techniques, and Eastern philosophy is blended with Surrealism in Western literary and artistic

trends. Two completely different aesthetics and incommensurate languages permeate Lu Chao's

fiction In the process of exploration, he creates a fabled and mythical world. Recent solo exhibitions:

Luo Zhongli (Chinese, b.1948), born in Chongqing, is considered one of China's foremost realist
painters and is known for his portraits of the people of southwestern China. He graduated with
a degree in Oil Painting from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 1982 and continued to earn an
MFA in Oil Painting from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium in 1986. Luo's
first solo exhibitions took place in Brussels and Cambridge, MA, in 1984 and 1985, respectively.
His work has been exhibited in cities worldwide since 1985, including Paris, France, Hong
Kong, Taipei, Sidney, and Chicago. Luo's 1980 portrait, Father, his most highly acclaimed work,
is considered one of the most recognizable works of contemporary Chinese art. The portrait
was acquired by the National Art Museum of China in Beijing. Luo currently lives in Chongqing,
where he serves as a professor at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute.

马六明（b.1969） 1969年出生于湖北黄石。1987-1991年于湖北美术学院油画系学习。是国内著名行为艺术家。九十年代

Born in Huangshi, Hubei in 1969. 1987-1991 studied in the Oil Painting Department of Hubei
Academy of Fine Arts. He is a famous domestic performance artist. In the early 1990s, he
moved to Dongcun on the outskirts of Beijing and started his performance art creation. He
is known for his enchanting, beautiful and androgynous Fen Ma Liuming. Performed many
performances in foreign art festivals and exhibitions. In the performance art circle, he is a well-
known artist of his predecessors, and he is also known as the most enchanting male artist.
He is favored by many domestic and foreign art institutions, such as Artesetti Gallery in South
Korea, Dolores de Sierra in Madrid, Spain, Galeria Filomena Soares in Lisbon, Portugal, Galerie
Albert Benamou in Paris, France, Primo Marella Gallery in Milan, Italy, Yi'an Gallery in China,
and China Contemporary Gallery in New York, USA.
