Born in Hongdong, Shanxi, China in 1983. Graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Beijing
Film Academy in 2005, now lives and works in Beijing. On June 4, 2020, Chen Fei ranked 77th
in the 2020 Hurun China Art List with a total turnover of 4.34 million yuan in the public auction

陈可（b.1978） 陈可分别于2002年和2005年获得四川美术学院油画系学士学位与硕士学位，随后在北京开始了艺术家的职
CHEN KE 业生涯。作为见证中国快速发展的一代，陈可的成长与艺术实践过程伴随着中国传统文化和西方文化的彼
此交织。陈可将作品代入自己编写的剧情，将绘画媒介置于经验与记忆的相互生成中去尝试开放的定义，

Chen Ke launched her career in Beijing after obtaining a BA from the Oil Painting Department of the
Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts in 2002 and an MFA in 2005 from the same faculty. Chen is among
the generation witnessing the rapid development of China. Traditional Chinese culture and Western
culture have intertwined throughout her growth and career. She expressed her feelings in real life
through the interpretation of these characters, especially the situation of women in society and the
experience of time and life. Chen Ke plots her art inside her script, involving the medium of painting
in the mutual generation of experiences and memories to endeavour an open-ended development.
