teachers and students. In the 1950s, Zhang Gongchi started his individual artistic creation. His
works are always full of free-spirited and unconstrained modern artistic temperament. The
most common vocabulary in the art circle's evaluation of Zhang Gongchi is "late bloomer".
And one of his teachers, Ding Tianque, also described him as "blue is better than blue". Zhang
Gongchi's artistic exploration has undergone two changes in the 1960s and 1980s. His life's
artistic creation was divided into three categories: "Lyrical style", abstract ink painting and
"true emotion" by the art critic Shi Jianbang.

张慧（b.1967） 1967年出生于中国黑龙江省,他是上世纪90年代末到21世纪初活跃于中国当代艺术界“后感性”小组最重要
ZHANG HUI 成员之一。其实践领域包括绘画、装置、现场戏剧以及行为表演。1986年就读中央戏剧学院舞台美术,1991

Zhang Hui was born in Heilongjiang province in 1967. From the late 1990s to the beginning of
the 21st century, he was one of the most important members of the “Post-sensing” group in
the Chinese contemporary art world. His artworks include paintings, installations, live drama,
and performances. In 1986, he studied at the Department of Stage Art of the Central Academy
of Drama. He graduated from the school in 1991 and then started to teach at school. He now
lives and works in Beijing. Major exhibition: “Zhang Hui 2018”, Long March Space, Beijing,
2018; “Square”, Long March Space, Beijing, 2014; “Farewell to Post-colonialism: The Third
Guangzhou Triennial”, Guangdong Museum of Art, Guangzhou, 2008.

张郎郎（b.1943） 1943年11月7日年出生于延安，我国著名画家、美术设计家、艺术评论家、诗人、作家、文化学者、教育
ZHANG LANGLANG 家。其父张仃先生是共和国国徽主要设计者、开国大典的设计人、绘画大师。母亲陈布文先生是作家、教
师，曾任李立三、周恩来的机要秘书。1963年考入中央美术学院美术史美术理论系。同年受父亲和丁绍

光装饰绘画的影响创作了一批画作，装订在一起，起名为《随梦录》。同时期创作长诗《燃烧的心》、独

Zhang Langlang was born in Yan An in November 7, 1943, and is a famous painter, art
designer, artcritic, poet, writer, cultural andeducator in China.His father Zhang Ding was one
of the chief designers of the National Emblem of the People’s Republic of China, one of the
designers of the Founding Ceremony of the People’s Republic of China, and a master painter
in contemporary China. His mother Chen Buwen was a writer and teacher, first served as the
secretary of Li Lisan, and later served Premier Zhou Enlai as his confidential secretary.In 1963,
Zhang Langlang was admitted to the Art History and Art Theory Department of the Central
Academy of Fine Arts. Under the influence of his father and Ding Shaoguang's decorative
paintings, he created a number of works. He bound them together and named the collection
"Follow the Dreams". During that time Zhang Langlang created the long poem "Burning Heart"
and one-act drama "Dialogue", a screenplay "Peacock Stone" and a collection of short poems.
From 1978 to 1980, he served as a teacher of the Department of Fine Arts History of the Central
Academy of Fine Arts and editor of the journal "Chinese Art" and "World Art". In the late 1990s,
