Born in Nanyang, Henan Province, China. 1996, Graduated from the painting department of
Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. Since 1996, he became an independent artist, currently

于修远（b.1983） 1983年生于辽宁沈阳。2008年毕业于鲁迅美术学院雕塑系获硕士学位。现为职业艺术家。2010年至2011年
YU XIUYUAN 在张峰雕塑工作室学习青铜雕塑热着色。2012年创立雕塑工作室”康宁水住房”从事雕塑创作。多次参加
当代青年雕塑家邀请展，上海青年美术邀请展等活动，部分作品为企业私人收藏。2005年木雕作品《温柔

的束缚》获全国大学生艺术节专业组二等奖。
青年雕塑家于修远以写实、具象的雕塑风格，在中国雕塑家中独树一帜他的作品中无论是人物的解剖结构
还是衣纹的褶皱都刻画的精致入微。其作品的最大特点就是一丝不苟的写实，一件作品经常要制作一年甚
至几年才完成。同时，由于其对人体解剖学的深入研究，对古代宫廷文化的关注，作品中所体现出的文化
特征和神秘气息使观众在其作品前不自主的产生一种交流的快感和心灵的震颤。

Yu Xiuyuan, born in 1983 in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province.He graduated from Luxun
Academy of Fine Arts in 2008 with a master's degree in sculpture department. Now Yu is a
occupation artist. And he studied on the thermal coloration of bronze sculpture in Zhang Feng
sculpture studio from 2010 to 2011.In 2012, Yu created the sculpture studio“Corelle water
housing”.Yu was participated in the invitation of contemporary young artists exhibition,Shanghai
youth art exhibition and other activities for several time,and some of his works is for private
collection of enterprises.
The young sculptor Yu Xiuyuan is unique among Chinese sculptors for his realistic and
figurative sculpting style. His works are exquisitely detailed in terms of the anatomical structure
