韦启美（1923-2009） 安徽安庆人，少年时代师从孙多慈学习美术。1942年入重庆中央大学艺术系，受业于徐悲鸿、黄显之、吕
WEI QIMEI 斯百等人。1947年，中央大学艺术系毕业。应徐悲鸿之邀任教于北平艺专，1950年任教于中央美术学院绘
画系。曾任中央美院油画系教研室主任，油画系研究生班主任、教授，中国美术家协会会员。主要展览：

Born in Anqing, Anhui Province. In his youth, he studied art from Sun Duoci. In 1942, he entered
the Art Department of Chongqing Central University and studied under Xu Beihong, Huang
Xianzhi, Lu Sibai and others. In 1947, graduated from the Art Department of Central University.
At the invitation of Xu Beihong, he taught at the Peking Art College and in 1950 he taught at the
Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He once served as the director of the
teaching and research section of the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine
Arts, the head teacher and professor of the graduate class of the Oil Painting Department, and
a member of the Chinese Artists Association. Major exhibitions: 2014 Fertile Soil Central Plains

卫天霖（1898-1977） 山西汾阳人，1920年赴日本留学，入东京川端洋画学校。1922年考入东京美术学校西洋画科，受业于日
WEI TIANLIN 本著名油画家藤岛武二，毕业后留在该校研究部再深造两年，1928年回国。任教于北平大学造型艺术研究
会、中法大学孔德文艺学院。40年代曾在国立北平艺专、华北大学文艺学院和北平私立女子西洋画学校任

教。1980年在中国美术馆举办卫天霖油画回顾展，1998年在北京国际艺苑美术馆举办卫天霖诞辰100周年画
展。卫天霖的导师藤岛武二曾留法、留意五载，是将法国印象派技法带回日本的名教授之一，极力提倡东
方艺术要有东方特色的艺术观点。当时整个东京美术学校被法国外光派技法所垄断，对中国留日学生的画
风也大有影响。卫天霖的印象派画风，以此为源，贯其一生。40年代后逐渐融合一些后印象派、野兽派和
中国民间造型的色彩、笔法的意趣，尤其是他家乡山西泥塑、年画的趣味，形成卫天霖式的浓丽苦涩、斑
驳厚重的油画风格。卫天霖在中国现当代美术史上是一位开宗立派的大师，吴冠中、罗尔纯等艺术家均受
惠于他的影响。

Born in Fenyang, Shanxi Province, Wei Tianlin studied in Japan in 1920 and entered the
Kawabata Western Painting School in Tokyo. In 1922, he was admitted to the Western Painting
Department of the Tokyo Art School and studied under the famous Japanese oil painter
Fujishima Takeji. After graduation, he stayed in the research department of the school for
another two years and returned to China in 1928. He teaches at the Plastic Arts Research
Association of Peking University and the Conde School of Literature and Art of the University
of China and France. In the 1940s, he taught at the National Peking Art College, the College
of Literature and Art of North China University, and the Peking Private Women's Western
Painting School. In 1980, the Retrospective Exhibition of Wei Tianlin's Oil Paintings was held
at the National Art Museum of China, and in 1998, the 100th Anniversary of Wei Tianlin's Birth
Exhibition was held at the Beijing International Art Museum. Wei Tianlin's mentor, Fujishima
Takeji, studied in France for five years and was one of the famous professors who brought
French Impressionist techniques back to Japan. He strongly advocated the artistic viewpoint
