Shi Hu (b.1942-) was born in Xushui County, Hebei Province, China. In 1958, he enrolled in
Beijing Arts and Crafts School; In 1960, enrolled in Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts; In 1968,
taught at Beijing Arts and Crafts School; 1977, worked at People's Art Publishing House. Major

石至莹（b.1979） 1979年出生于上海，2005年毕业于上海大学美术学院油画系，获硕士学位，现生活、工作于上海。石至莹
SHI ZHI YING 以她近似单色笔触的广延的场景，比如海，沙，草等为人熟知，她试图用绘画语言表现物质的存在状态。

感和体量通过绘画性的笔触呈现,物体的形状却并不坚实,而是经由独自成立的线条、笔触和颜料传达内在
的节奏逻辑,在与视觉经验的相互作用中建立起感性又稳定的结构。艺术家以流畅、富有观察力的绘画体现
出事物生成与消解带来的瞬时性,捕捉了在物质、绘画平面和状态感受之间发生的极其缓慢但持续进行的
转变。她在北京尤伦斯当代艺术中心(2009)，美国橘郡美术馆(2017)举办过个展，作品被上海当代艺术博
物馆，中华艺术宫，上海复兴艺术基金会，上海刘海粟美术馆，Cc基金会，余德耀美术馆，美国橘郡美术
馆，悉尼新南威尔士艺术博物馆，悉尼白兔美术馆，PizzutiCollection等机构收藏。个展：2019年“相对距

Born in 1979 in Shanghai. Graduated from Shanghai University Shanghai Fine Arts College
in 2005 with a master degree. Now working and living in Beijing.Shi Zhiying has become
well known in her native China for stark monochromatic paintings of uniform vistasin open
ocean water, sand, grass… she deals with materials’ state of existence in her painting
practice.Emphasized in her practice is the interchange of appearance with disappearance:
the quality and scale ofwater,rock,containers, the figure of buddhas,beads are described in
painterly strokes. The shapes are however not certain, instead are formed by independent
lines, brushstrokes and the paints, conveying an immanent rhythmic logic, establishing a
stable and sensational structure in the process of interacting with the visual experience.
The artist demonstrates via her smooth, insightful paintings the transience of a being’s life,
captures the extremely gradual transition that happens in the space between materials,
the painting surfaces and the present experience. She had solo exhibition in Ullens Center
for contemporary art(2009) and Orange County Museum of art(2017),her work are collected
by Shanghai Power station of art, Shanghai Art Museum,Fusun Foundation,Shanghai
Liuhaisu Museum, Cc Foundation,Yuz Museum Shanghai,Orange County Museum of art,Art
Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney,White Rabbit Gallery in Sydney, Pizzuti Collection.
