Born in Zhejiang Province, Ai Xuan graduated from the middle school affiliated with the Central
Academy of Fine Arts in 1967. He is currently a professional painter at the Beijing Painting
Institute and a member of the China Artists’ Association.

艾中信（1915-2003） 1915年出生于上海市。1936年考入南京中央大学教育学院艺术系。师从徐悲鸿、吴作人、吕斯百学素描、
AI ZHONGXIN 油画；师从张书旗学画花鸟画；师从徐悲鸿学画走兽；师从傅抱石学美术理论及篆刻；师从黄君璧学画山
水；师从陈之佛学美术史。选修宗白华先生的美术课。1940年毕业后留校任教。曾任中国美术学院副研究

员。历任中央美术学院教授、油画系主任、副院长、中国美术家协会理事、中国大百科全书总编辑委员会
委员、《中国大百科全书·美术》编辑委员会主任等职。作品《卖柑者》获重庆抗战美术展览会青年奖，
由中央图书馆收藏；《沙坪小景》获重庆“第3届全国美展”教育部奖；作品《通往乌鲁木齐》由中国美
术馆收藏；《红军过雪山》由中国人民革命军事博物馆收藏；《东渡黄河》由中国人民革命军事博物馆收
藏；《忆嘉陵》由中国美术馆收藏。曾为上海《时代日报》编辑《艺术》双周刊，并在《时代日报》及
《民主》（周刊）发表漫画。著作主要有：《徐悲鸿研究》（上海人美出版社出版），《读画论画》（海
天出版社）等。

Ai Zhongxin was born in Shanghai in 1915. He studied in Central University Fine Arts
Deparment under Xu Beihong, Wu Zuoren and Lv Si. After graduation in 1940 he stayed to
teach. He was professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, vice president of the Chinese
Artists Asssociation, editor of the Editorial Committee of Encyclopedia of China. His works are
collected by major museums such as the National Art Museum of China.

Born in 1967 in Denmark, Eliasson grew up in Iceland and Denmark, where he studied from
1989 to 1995 at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. In 1995, he moved to Berlin and founded
