             贺慕群(1924-2012)            1924年生于上海,先后在台湾、巴西、西班牙等地居留,在巴西圣保罗的艺评界赢得极高的评价与声誉。

                                       各项大奖。1996—2002年,两次在上海美术馆举办作品展。作品被巴黎国立图书馆、法国文化部、上海
                                       美术馆、台湾山艺术基金会等机构收藏。

                                       Born in Ningbo, Zhejiang province. Moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1950. Moved to Paris in 1965,
                                       and studied at the Academie grande Chaumiere. Won the First Award at Salon Femme Peinture
                                       in 1968 in Paris. Exhibited in Madrid in Spain, San Paulo, Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Goteborg in
                                       Sweden, Paris in France, Gallery Conseil Regional of Bourgogne, Taipei, Shanghai and Hong
                                       Kong from 1960 to 2001.

                                       Henri Gervex (Paris 10 December 1852 – 7 June 1929) was a French painter who studied
                                       painting under Alexandre Cabanel, Pierre-Nicolas Brisset and Eugène Fromentin.His early
                                       work belonged almost exclusively to the mythological genre, which served as an excuse for the
                                       painting of the nude. While his early work belongs to the mythological genre and he painted
                                       genre pictures with brilliant ease, Gervex afterwards devoted himself to representations of
                                       modern life. Influenced by impressionism as a painter intimately aware of the works of Edouard
                                       Manet and Edgar Degas, he was also committed to the traditions of realism and the Academy
                                       in the creation of his own imagery during the late 1870s and 1880s.


             林风眠(1900-1991)            广东省梅县人。1918年由政府赞助赴法勤工俭学。先在第戎美术学校进修西洋画,后转入巴黎国立高等美

                                       术学校深造。在学校里受学院派教育,但校外深受当时流行的现代流派影响,如后印象主义、野兽主义及
                                       原始主义,其中又以马蒂斯、莫迪里阿尼为甚。他们的影响体现于林风眠中西结合的画风之中,其作品曾

                                       入选法国秋季沙龙。林风眠于1925年回国,被聘为北平国立艺专校长。后受蔡元培之邀,赴杭州创建杭州
                                       艺专并任校长。他经常撰文宣传中西艺术结合的创作经验和理论。1977年移居香港,仍孜孜不倦地从事艺
                                       术创作直至晚年。曾任上海美术家协会主席,上海中国画院画师,为上海乃至全国的美术事业做出了巨大
                                       的贡献。赴港前将其在上海时创作的105幅作品存放于上海中国画院,不久又将这批存画全部捐献国家。无
                                       论世人的审美有何差异,林风眠是公认的20世纪不可或缺的美术大师,则是不争的事实。他是享有国际声
                                       望的画家之一,我国当代美术的宗师,现代美术教育的奠基者之一。

                                       Native of Meixian, Guangdong. Lin Feng Mian went to France on scholarship under the Work-
                                       Study Programme in 1918. He studied Western painting at Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts
                                       de Dijon and later transferred to Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris for
                                       further studies. He was trained classically in school, but was also heavily influenced by post-
                                       impressionism, fauvism and primitivism, especially artists such as Matisse and Modigliani.
                                       Their influences manifested in his style which combines traditional Chinese and Western.
                                       His works were once selected for the Autumn Salon in France. Lin returned to China in 1925
                                       to become Director of National Beijing Fine Art School. Later, on Cai Yuanpei's invitation, he
                                       went to Hangzhou to take up appointment as the inaugural president of the National Academy
                                       of Art. In 1977, he emigrated to Hong Kong and continued to devote himself to art making well
