Born in 1951 in Hangzhou and currently living and working in Beijing, Zheng is a member of
the Wuming (No Name) Art Group. She graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in
1988. She began learning painting from her father, the printmaker Zheng Yefu, in 1971 and
continued her studies with Li Hua after her father's passing. Zheng joined the Wuming Art
Group in the early 1970s, along with artists such as Zhang Wei, Li Shan, Marco Polo, Shi Xixi,
Wang Aihou, Wei Hai, Liu Shi, and Tian Shuying, forming what is known as the Yuyuantan
School of painting. The works created by this group reflect their sincere understanding of truth,
kindness, and beauty within seemingly themeless landscapes and still lifes, capturing the spirit
of Beijing at that time. She participated in the Eleven People Underground Art Exhibition at
Zhang Wei's home on the third floor of Building 5 of the Fusi Border Building in 1975. In 1979,
she participated in the first public exhibition of the Wuming Art Group at the Beihai Painting
Boat Studio in Beijing, representing the awakening of individual consciousness among Chinese
artists and their consciousness of constructing artistic ontology. Her works are part of the

钟鸣（b.1964） 浙江绍兴人，生于北京，华裔英籍画家。曾就读于中国中央工艺美院，英国皇家艺术学院，英国皇家电影
ZHONG MING 学院。曾因创作了《他是他自己—萨特》一作而在美术界引起画家是否应存在个性的广泛争议，遂引起
轩然大波，并成为中国美术界改革开放的里程碑式的作品。该幅作品后为波伏娃收藏至过世。上世纪80年
50
代至英国求学，后在国内外从事电视和电影导演工作。现居上海，一心绘画。 主要展览：2010 从钟鸣到

From Shaoxing, Zhejiang province was born in Beijing, a Chinese British painter. He studied
at the China Central Academy of Technology, the Royal College of Art, and the Royal Cinema
College. He once caused widespread controversy for the first time about Should the painter
