Yuan Yunsheng, born in Nantong, Jiangsu Province on April 4, 1937, graduated from The Third
Studio directed by Dong Xiwen, oil painting department, Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA)
in 1962. In 1979, he participated in making mural paintings for Beijing Capital International
Airport and taught in mural Department of the Central Academy of Craft Art and CAFA. In 1982,
he was invited to visit the United States until 1988 and taught at Tufts University, Massachusetts
University, Smith College, Harvard University. In September 1996, he was invited to be the
director and professor of the Fourth Studio of the oil painting department, CAFA. His works
have been collected by art galleries and institutes at home and abroad. Solo Exhibiton: 2022,

张培力（b.1957） 张培力，1957年生于杭州，1984年毕业于浙江美术学院（现中国美术学院），现为中国美术学院教授、

OCAT上海馆执行馆长。张培力于1985、86年组织参与“85新空间”展览及“池社”活动。作品《30X30》
（1988）被看作中国最早的录像艺术作品。他于2003年在中国美术学院建立新媒体系，开始了中国艺术院

校中最早的新媒体艺术教育。张培力曾参加威尼斯双年展、里昂双年展、悉尼双年展、光州双年展、釜山
双年展等重要国际展事；曾在纽约现代艺术博物馆、芝加哥美术馆、比利时根特当代美术馆举办个展。他
的作品为纽约现代艺术博物馆、伦敦泰特现代美术馆、纽约古根海姆博物馆、阿布扎比古根海姆博物馆、
法国蓬皮杜艺术中心、芝加哥美术馆、纽约亚洲协会、新加坡国家美术馆，澳洲昆士兰美术馆、香港M+、
Lot 1579 福冈亚洲美术馆、法国国立造型艺术委员会、民生美术馆（上海）、德国戴姆勒艺术收藏、法国DSL艺术收
藏、香港K11艺术基金会、四方美术馆（南京）等国内外机构收藏。

Zhang Peili Born in 1957 in Hangzhou, Zhang Peili graduated from Zhejiang Academy of Fine
Arts (now China Academy of Art) in 1984, where he now teaches. He is also the executive
director of OCAT Shanghai.In 1985 and 1986, Zhang Peili organized and participated in the "'85
Xin Kong Jian" ('85 New Space) exhibition and artist collective "Chi She" (Pond Society). His
work "30x30" (1988) is considered the earliest video artwork in China. In 2003, he established
Lot 1580 the new media department at China Academy of Art and thus started the earliest new media
art education in China.

Zhang Peili has participated in the Venice Biennale, la Biennale de Lyon, the Sydney Biennial,
the Gwangju Biennial, the Busan Biennale, etc. Zhang has held solo exhibitions at Museum of
Modern Art, New York; Art Institute of Chicago; and the Municipal Museum of Contemporary
Art, Gent. His works have been collected by prominent institutions such as Museum of
Modern Art, New York; Tate Modern, London; Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York;
Guggenheim Abu Dhabi; Centre Pompidou, Paris; Art Institute of Chicago; Asia Society;
Singapore Art Museum; Queensland Art Gallery; M+ Museum, Hong Kong; Fukuoka Asian Art
Museum; Centre national des arts plastiques; Shanghai Minsheng Art Museum; Daimler Art
Collection; DSL Collection, K11 Art Foundation, and Sifang Art Museum, Nanjing.
