        ˄฽ʊʔΎఊఊ݊މ࢝ତࡈɛאᕐɛٙɢඎdϾ݊ᘾўഹ̙                           encouraged to do so by his teacher Yuyu Yang as a way of
        ԃɛၾ˂ή΍͛ٙ˜ၚग़ɽ޴™fϡთν݊༕ᙑj˜˸ۃٙપ                          improving his health. However, Ju also used the practice of the
        ˓dՇࡈࡈ᜗ගᒔϞග൷dϾତίdҢᜫᕐ˓ஹટৎԸdɓ                           Chinese martial art to enhance his grounding in sculpture and
        ஹટdंٙݴਗeЄЂٙଘਗdఱ޴ʝ஫ஷeݺഖdΥމɓ                           started to consider creating art work based on Taichi moves.
        ᜗dᔷʷϓܹژٙிۨf ™މଉʷ޴͛޴ڗٙ˄฽ܠซd˼ਗ਼                         In 1976, one of the pieces in the artist’s first solo exhibition
                                                             was a wood carving titled Kung-fu and this marked the origin
        ܔጘኪʕܹٙژிۨˏɝdீཀ௕ජʝ͛eۃܝ஫ஷٙ٤ග                           point of the Taichi Series. After many years of honing his skills
        ிۨdਗ਼˄฽ࣃجЫԸҢֻeंࢹݴਗஹஷɓ᜗ٙҖόdʷ                           and reflection, Ju Ming developed a deeper experience and
        މ˜Υ׬މɓ™ٙ˴᜗f͍νߕஔ̦઺બጽᖘ๿ʘԊj˜˄                           understanding of the Taichi spirit, which led to the birth of the
        ฽ӻΐd੽ڋಂ༰਋ӜҖ൥ᅼᏝٙྒྷ༊dԐཀɢ༸̮ᜑ                           world-renowned Taichi Series. In the 1980s, he further expanded
        ٙœจ൥ڌତdίˍ˰ߏʘ͋ٙɘ㖼ϋ˾d˸œܹژӻ                           the works in the series from a classical single move to two
        ΐٙЪۜdΫᓥ˄฽ೌҖeݴᔷʔࢹٙၚ່œग़ᗲf ™Ϊ                          figures in combat and in the 1990s, as the language of the series
        Ϥd˜˄฽ܹژ™ԑ̙၈੻ɪ݊ϡთ˄฽ӻΐጲɝʷྤٙණ                           continued to evolve, created Taichi Arch. At the same time, Ju
        ɽϓʘЪf                                                also transcended the limits of wood by embracing a range of
                                                             materials -- bronze, stone sculpture and stainless steel.

                                                             Indeed, creative works with a “Taichi” motif were later shown
