日本書法家、藝術家。曾隨著名書法家上田桑鳩習字七年之久，喜歡把個別漢字獨立出
來，呈現字義與字形的關係，亦表達了他對戰爭和苦難的感受。1952 年創立前衛書法團
體「墨人會」。他的作品雖少，卻下了甚多功夫，絲毫不顯費勁。

Japanese calligrapher and artist. He had a long seven-year training under mentorship of the
established calligraphy master Ueda Sokyu. He flavored isolating the Kanji character to reflect
on the relationship between the meaning and its form, and to express his feelings about war
and suffering. In 1952, he founded the avant-garde Society for calligraphy "Bokujin-kai". His
exhibited works are few but are the result of immense labour, the last trace of which has been
eradicated.
