吴冠中 (1919-2010） 1919年出生于江苏省宜兴县。1942年毕业于国立艺术专科学校，1946年考取教育部公费留学，1947年到
WU GUANZHONG 巴黎国立高级美术学校，随苏沸尔学校学习西洋美术史。吴冠中1950年秋返国。先后任教于中央美术学
院、清华大学建筑系、北京艺术学院、中央工艺美术学院。曾任清华大学美术学院教授、中国美术家协会

顾问，全国政协委员等职。2010年6月25日23时57分，吴冠中先生因病医治无效，在北京医院逝世，享年
91岁。曾出版过《吴冠中素描、色彩画选》、《吴冠中中国画选一辑》、《东寻西找集》、《吴冠中散文
选》等。

Wu Guanzhong was born in 1919 in the county of Liaoning Province. In 1942, he graduated from
the National Academy of Arts. In 1946, he was admitted to the Ministry of education for free
study. In 1947, he went to the national advanced art school, and studied western art history

with suer school. Wu Guanzhong returned home in the autumn of 1950. He has taught in
the Department of architecture, art and technology. He served as a professor of the Chinese
Artists Association and a member of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political
Consultative Conference.At 23:57 on June 25, 2010, Wu Guanzhong died of illness and died at
Beijing Hospital, aged 91. He has published "Wu Guanzhong sketch, color painting selection",
"Wu Guanzhong selected a collection of Chinese paintings", "east looking for the west to find
the collection", "Wu Guanzhong prose selection" and so on.

熊秉明 (1922-2002） 熊秉明集哲学、文学、绘画、雕塑、书法之修养于一身，旅居法国50年，无论对人生哲学的体悟还是对艺
HSIUNG PING-MING 术创作的实践，都贯穿东西，融合了中国的人文精神。早期主要制作大型写实雕塑。20世纪60年代起，以
水牛为主题制作铜塑。1983年获法国教育部棕榈骑士勋章，参加“巴黎华裔艺术家展览”。1998年受北大

旅欧校友会之委托制作不锈铜鲁迅浮雕像为北大百周年校庆典礼，此像放置北大新图书馆内。熊秉明以深
厚的中国传统文化作基础，吸收西方文化精华，创造出具有独特风格的艺术作品，其思想和论著对于建设
现代中国的新文化意义重大。

Xiong Bingming, who has lived in France for 50 years, has combined philosophy, literature,
painting, sculpture and calligraphy. In 1983, he was awarded the Order of the Palm by the
French Ministry of Education and participated in the "Exhibition of Chinese Artists in Paris".
1998, he was commissioned by the Alumni Association of Peking University in Europe to make
a relief statue of Lu Xun in stainless bronze for the 100th anniversary ceremony of Peking
University. The statue was placed in the new library of Peking University. Xiong Bingming's
ideas and writings are of great significance to the construction of a new culture in modern
China, based on the deep traditional Chinese culture and the essence of Western culture.

颜文樑 (1893-1988） 童年随父学中国画。1904年入诚正学堂，开始临摹古代绘画。1906年入长元吴公立高等小学，在绘画艺术
YAN WENLIANG 方面崭露头角。1909年小学毕业后赴上海，考入商务印书馆技术生，1910年在上海商务印书馆工作时，
曾随日本画家学习水彩画，并自学油画。1919年创办美术画赛会，为全国性定期美术展览会。1922年与

胡粹中、朱士杰创办苏州美术专科学校，任校长。1928年赴法国留学，进国立巴黎美术专门学校，在皮埃
尔·罗朗士教授画室学习。1931年回国，仍在苏州美专执教。1933年至1934年曾兼任南京中央大学艺术系
代理系主任、之江大学建筑系教授 。1952年以来，历任中央美术学院华东分院副院长、顾问，浙江美术学
院教授。中国美术家协会理事，美协上海分会副主席。1929年创作的粉画《厨房》，曾获法国国家沙龙画
会荣誉奖；油画《枫桥夜泊》获第六届全国美展荣誉奖，被中国美术馆收藏。1982年7月，浙江美院与美协
Lot 148 上海分会联合举行了庆贺颜文樑艺术生活暨80年大会，同时举办了颜文樑画展。
